Dramatis Personae (Part II & III)

Some of the key NPCs introduced in Part II & III:

  • Lord Admiral Baron Chan Li Halan - "The Machine Slayer" was the hero of the Rampart campaign in the Emperor Wars. He has been drawn out of retirement for one final, honourable task. His history of post-war "asset recovery" will likely stand him in good stead for the mission at hand.  He currently commands the Tiger of Tashrak, a Cardano class galliot.

  • Bishop Arcellius Li Halan - Charged by Archbishop Mezenzikes with the return of a sacred relic, the bishop is both the highest ranking clergyman on the mission and consumed with the seriousness of duty and mission.
  • Baronet Chi-Fu Li Halan - "The Duke's Man", Chi-Fu is the representative of Midian's planetary Duke and is the voice of authority on the mission.
  • Sir Aldous Redwood Justinian - Representative of Dame Octavia Justinian and his House's ambassador to the mission.
  • Brother "Father" Cadog - Ship's doctor aboard the Tiger of Tashrak, the Father is an Urth Orthodox priest with a pragmatic approach and jovial manner. A very popular figure aboard ship, the Borther is known as Father to the crew and marine complement, much to the chagrin of the conservative traditionalist, Bishop Arcellius.
  • Sergeant-at-Arms Davidson - Commander of the mission's Li Halan guard contigent. Has obvious resentment towards the agents of Count Rem.
  • Colonel Sir Fa Zhou Li Halan (retd.) - Decorated veteran of the Emperor Wars, the Colonel is an old and somewhat infirm military officer.  He is accompanying the mission as a final spiritual pilgrimage while he is still able to travel. Due to his illustriuos service he has been granted the privilage of travelling as a passenger on The Blessed Saint Horace.
